Teaching

I teach a variety of courses. My main course is EFB 487/687, Fisheries Science and Management, offered each fall. In even years I teach EFB 488, Fisheries Science Practicum. I also teach exploratory courses and seminars, and also try to involve students in active research. Every so often, I also teach my favorite field course, "The Hudson River Watershed: Source to Sink in Eight Days."

Last fall (2021), I taught an experimental class in Climate Change Adaptation. Pretty timely!

Here is a link to an experimental course that I co-taught a couple of years ago. It was a thought experiment on how to take down a gigantic dam and restore ecological connectivity!
