Here in Morgan, we have many different people with countless personalities and preferences. But have you ever thought, “ they would make a good comedian!” or, “They are very forgetful sometimes…”?
Well, now we have a fun and new idea: Morgan's Most Likely!
This month, you can click on the link to fill out the form. First, you click a category your friend might belong to (please don't enter yourself; it's more fun this way!), then enter their first and last name and grade. When the results come in, we will interview the people who were picked most and add them to the next Morgan Insider!
Get excited, Morgan!! Here is a little information about each category to show what kind of person we’re looking for.
This is really straightforward, looking for comedic relief, please. They MUST be goofy, and they’ve definitely had random conversations that require much context.
This person must be one of two things: able to get the popular vote because everyone loves them, or the most organized and ready to run the country. You make what you will of that.
This person will not be afraid of moldy banana peels and Twinkie wrappers with ketchup on them. Also, be very determined to retrieve whatever they want from the trash can.
You need to be either a smart nerd or someone who loves annoying whoever they are texting like a human autocorrect.
This is an oddly specific description of someone who would either do this completely on purpose, or they are just a human Dory. Both are questionable.
This needs to be someone who has serious style who could make it to the red carpet. Probably look fire even when going to school!
You need to 100% have a memory of steel. Or you found a four-leaf clover. You know, potato potatoh.
If this is you, you know who you are. You find someone fine in a random aisle in Fred Meyer, you're not gonna stop talking about them for the rest of the day. It's a “minor” hobby.
*Please note that whoever is submitted to this will be asked if this is ok with them before we put anything up. Please don't submit someone if they don't want to be put in. Keep it kind.*

This year, the high school rugby team went to Ireland after a successful season on the pitch. In the previous issue of the Morgan Insider, information was given about the entire team and their history with various players contributing to the interviews.
The team took a 9-hour flight to Dublin, Ireland, then most drove to Galway. They stayed in hostels and spent most of their days training and preparing for what was to come.
While they were there, both the girls' team and the boys' team did lots of training. The boys' team played against two teams, while the girls were not able to play against any. After the matches, both teams met up, ate, and got to know each other. The girls and boys were able to practice at the new Dexcom stadium. While they were practicing, they were coached by many professional players on the Irish team. They also did a ropes course on one of the first days while they were there. During most of the trip, the players were not able to access their phones. This allowed them to socialize and meet new people.
The boys' team played against Shannon RFC and St. Michael's College.

⏰Prep time: 40 mins
⏰ Cook time: 12 mins
⏰Total time: 3hrs (including chill time)
🍴Yield: about 14 cookies
2 ¼ cups of all-purpose flour
½ teaspoon baking powder
¼ teaspoon salt
¾ cup unsalted butter (softened to room temperature)
¾ cup granulated sugar
1 large egg
2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
About 4 packs of 8 Peeps (pink, blue, yellow)
Graphic created by Dema Dondji & Gabby Hartung, using Canva
In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
In a large bowl, using a handheld or stand mixer, beat butter and sugar together on high speed until the mixture is light and creamy. Add the egg and vanilla. Beat on high speed until combined.
Add dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix until combined.
Split the dough in half. Place each half on a piece of floured parchment paper. With a lightly floured rolling pin, roll the dough so that it is about ¼ inch thick. If it seems a bit too sticky, add a little bit more flour.
Lightly dust one of the rolled-out halves with flour. Place the other half(still on the parchment paper) on top of the first half. Tightly cover the dough with plastic wrap and refrigerate it for at least 2 hours and up to 2 days
Preheat the oven to 350℉. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or silicone baking mats
Carefully remove the top piece of dough from the refrigerator. Using a cookie cutter, cut the dough into circles. Repeat until all the dough is cut. Arrange the cookies 3 inches apart on the baking sheet.
Bake for 11-12 minutes or until the edges of the cookies are very lightly browned. Allow the cookies to cool on a cooling rack before decorating.

Looking for something fun to do for the Easter holiday? Here is a list of local Easter events happening in Kittitas County.
You can help change this earth, our home, from “trashed” to “loved” just by doing a simple deed that will merely take 10-30 mins of your time. I highly recommend participating in Earth Day because our Earth is being polluted at an alarming rate due to human activities and population growth. But with your help, we could try to make a change.
You can help by either planting more trees or spreading social awareness about the need for us all to become better human beings and try to lower our carbon footprint.
Did you know that Earth Day’s date was set to April 22 every year to maximize the amount of student participation in this holiday because it falls between spring break and final exams? That means Gaylord Nelson, the founder of Earth Day, wants you to help save the Earth, as do I and almost everyone around the world, so do us all a favor, including yourself, and help save Earth!

As you know, April Fool's Day is celebrated worldwide on April 1st. A day of harmless pranks (mostly) and fun jokes. How did this holiday begin, though? Some of the answers may surprise you.
The most popular theory regarding the beginning of April Fool's Day regards the “April fools.” In the 1850s, France decided to switch to the modern calendar; for context, the new year was celebrated in April under the previous calendar. However, the modern calendar states that the new year is celebrated in January. Unfortunately for some, they either chose or did not know, and they continued to celebrate the new year in April. These individuals were quickly dubbed the “April fools”, and thus began the holiday. As the theory goes, eventually everybody celebrated in January, but the tradition of April Fools continued, to manifest as lighthearted pranks.
This theory relates to the grand costume festivals held in ancient Rome around the end of March. The people would dress as high-ranking officials or wear strange costumes, and then go mock or play jokes on their friends. These festivals were seen as a way to break the monotony of life, plus even nature played a part; in fact, it is theorized that the reason this festival started is because of the chaotic and unpredictable weather of the season.
Another common theory involves the Scottish national animal. In Scotland, the unicorn is the national animal, and it may have started the tradition of pranks. Allegedly, the unicorn symbolizes power, innocence, and an untamed spirit. In the 1400’s, Scotland allegedly attempted to incorporate this animal into a holiday to further separate from the British (who they had just recently gained their independence from). Thus began the tradition of lighthearted pranks, though their attempt to separate themselves from Britain failed, as soon almost every English-speaking nation adopted it.
Another France-based idea comes with children and fish. Allegedly, April was a time when fish were very easily caught, and in celebration of nature's goodwill, people played pranks. The most common was when children stuck pictures of fish on their friends' and parents' backs. Called Poisson d’Avril, it is believed that this tradition is what eventually transformed into April Fool's Day.
In conclusion, April fools has a lot of origins, and maybe more than one might be true. Unfortunately, one of these isn’t; I purposely made one of these theories false. Can you guess which one? Try to guess in the poll below!

Dinosaurs are such great things to learn about, but lots of people don’t take the time to learn about them. But, right here, you can read and learn more about dinosaurs and their species before they went extinct!
The Tyrannosaurus is a genus of large theropod dinosaur. The type species is Tyrannosaurus rex, often shortened to ‘T.Rex’, which is one of the best represented theropods. It lived through what is now western North America, on what was then an Island known as Laramidia.
The T.Rex often ate about 110,000 to 160,000 calories a day. It ate at least 8 different species of dinosaurs: the Triceratops, Ankylosaurus, Edmontosaurus, Hadrosauridae, Alamosaurus, Corythosaurus, Struthiomimus, and Tyrannosaurus. T. rex would run at 9.9-45 mph and travel at least 3 mph. It lived 83.6 million years ago - 66 million years ago, its life span was 30 years, and its height was 12 - 20ft. The Tyrannosaurus rex could see up to 3.5 to 3.7 miles.
Did you know that the Tyrannosaurus rex ate its own kind? There was evidence strongly suggesting that Tyrannosaurus rex was cannibalistic. Tyrannosaurus itself has strong evidence pointing towards it having a cannibalistic or at least scavenging capacity based on tooth marks on the foot bones, humerus, and metatarsals of one specimen.
Ornithomimus is a genus of ornithomimid theropod dinosaur from the Campanian and Maastrichtian ages of the late Cretaceous in western North America.
Ornithomimus was a swift bipedal dinosaur that was covered in feathers and equipped with a toothless beak that may have indicated an omnivorous diet. It is usually classified into two species: the type species, Ornithomimus velox, and a referred species, Ornithomimus edmontonicus.
The Ornithomimus lived 125 million years ago - 66 million years ago. It ate plants, fruits, seeds, leaves, and small animals, like insects, lizards, and mammals. The ornithomimus also ran at 43 - 50 mph.
Did you know that the Ornithomimus is often called a dinosaur bird mimic? The Ornithomimus is called the bird mimic because it resembles an ostrich, with its beak lacking teeth, its long neck, its three-toed feet, and evidence of having feathers.
Parasaurolophus is a genus of hadrosaurid “duck-billed” dinosaurs that lived in what is now western North America and possibly Asia during the late Cretaceous, about 76.3 - 73 million years ago. It was a large herbivore that could reach over 30 ft long and weigh over 5.5 short tons, and were able to move as a biped and quadruped. Three species are universally recognized: P. Walkeri (the type of species), P. Tubicen, and short-crested P. Cyrtocristatus. Additionally, a fourth species, p. Jiayinensis, has been proposed, although it is commonly placed in the separate genus Charonosaurus. Remains are known from Alberta, New Mexico, Utah, as well as possibly Heilongjiang, if Charonosaurus was in fact part of the genus. The genus was first described in 1922 by Williams Parks from a skull and partial skeleton found in Alberta.
The Parasaurolophus grew to be about 33 feet from snout to tail, and its crested skull was over five feet long.

In this article, I will go through who is actually the most “No Skill” Brawler in Brawl Stars. I have gathered up 3 brawlers that the community claims are “No Skill.” Today, I will be testing these brawlers to see if they require any sort of skill to play.
Attack range: Short
Movement Speed: Very Fast
Super: Vault (Passive super; Edgar jumps on the enemy)
1st Gadget: Let’s Fly (Edgar’s super charges for 525% for 4 seconds)
2nd Gadget: Hardcore (provides Edgar with a shield that absorbs 2,000 damage)
1st Star Power: Hard Landing (when using his super, Edgar deals 1,000 damage to nearby enemies upon landing)
2nd Star Power: Fisticuffs (increases the amount of health Edgar recovers from his lifesteal mechanic by 25%)
Summary: In my opinion, this brawler does not require much skill, as his attack range is short and does not require you to aim your shots when trying to take down an enemy. You just use his 1st gadget, immediately get your super, hide in a bush until an enemy appears, then jump on them and spam that red button. This brawler is definitely no skill.
Attack range: Short
Movement speed: Very fast
Super: Carry me (Kit jumps. If he jumps on an ally, he will land on their back, healing them over time and making him invulnerable. He will also gain a new, faster basic attack. If jumped on an enemy, he will deal damage and stun them.)
1st gadget: Cardboard box (Kit hides inside a box, becoming invisible to enemies for 5 seconds. While standing still in the box, Kit’s super charges twice as fast)
2nd gadget: Cheeseburger (When attached to a teammate, Kit heals him and the ally for 40% of their maximum health)
1st star power: Power Hungry (Kit gains 150% more value from every Power Cube he collects.)
2nd Star power: Overly attached (Increases the duration of Kit’s attachment to friendly brawlers by 5 seconds.)
Summary: Overall, looking at this brawler's stats, they are similar to Edgar except with a combined support ability and assassin ability. Kit’s super is passive (just like Edgar’s), so it charges over time. So basically all you have to do is play solo showdown, get 3 cubes for max damage and health, hide in a bush until your super charges, then jump on the nearest enemy and obliterate them. Repeat this process 1 more time, then boom, you have a free win. So obviously, this brawler takes no skill at all.
Attack range: Short
Movement Speed: Fast
Super: Holey Moley! (Jacky pulls in nearby enemies toward her while gaining a 50% damage reduction shield for the duration)
1st Gadget: Pneumatic booster (increases Jacky’s movement speed by 25% for 4 seconds.)
2nd Gadget: Rebuild (Jacky restores broken obstacles like bushes and walls within a small 3x3 radius around her.)
1st Star Power: Counter Crush (When an enemy attacks Jacky at a close range, she triggers a counterattack.)
2nd Star Power: Hardy Hard Hat (Provides Jacky a permanet 15% damage reduction)
Summary: Overall, this brawler takes no skill, requiring no aim for any of her attacks. You just use her first gadget and 2nd star power, run into an enemy, and spam that red button. Then, when you have your super, pull in everyone else and obliterate them.
