JOB SHADOWING IN VAASA
At the end of April, three teachers from Les Acàcies School attended the Onkilahden yhtenäiskoulu School located in Vaasa, Finland for a week. This school has the singularity that hosts the specialty of music and is the reference centre of classroom reception in the area.
During the stay, they had the chance to better understand Finnish education system works. At the school, they observed classes of all the subjects of the Basic education stage 7-12. They also had the opportunity to visit a Kindergarten where the preparation course for Pre-primary education is held.
The teachers of the Les Acàcies School gave a presentation to the Finnish students to show them Barcelona, the school and the Catalan education system. They found it very interesting to be able to compare education systems and share learning experiences.
A finals del mes d'abril, tres mestres de l'escola les Acàcies van assistir durant una setmana a l'escola Onkilahden yhtenäiskoulu situada a Vaasa Finlandia, aquesta escola té la singularitat que acull l'especialitat de música i és el centre referent d'aula d'acollida de la zona.
Durant l'estada, van conèixer millor com funcionava el sistema educatiu fines.
A l'escola van observar classes de totes les assignatures de l'etapa de Basic education 7-12. A més, van tindre l'oportunitat de visitar un Kindergarten on es portava a terme el curs de preparació per a la primària Pre-primary education.
Les mestres de l'escola les Acàcies van preparar una presentació als alumnes per a donar a conèixer Barcelona, el funcionament de l’escola i el sistema educatiu català. Els va resultar molt interessant poder comparar els sistemes educatius i compartir experiències d'aprenentatge.
