Learn about Teacher Incentive Allotment
We want to recruit, retain, and REWARD high-quality teachers. We want to provide ongoing opportunities for teacher professional growth and continually strive to improve student outcomes.
What is the Teacher Incentive Allotment?
The Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) was created by the Texas Legislature as part of House Bill 3 to provide a realistic pathway for top teachers to earn six-figure salaries and to help attract and retain highly effective teachers at traditionally hard-to-staff schools. Please note: this video does not reflect the updates from HB2.
