Candidates who are hired and placed on an intern/probationary teaching certificate attend internship coursework training.
Candidates must meet eligibility requirements to be placed on an intern/probationary certificate.
Or, candidates who are accepted July 2025 through the academic school year 2025-2026 and successfully pass TExES content exam(s) can be employed as a late hire.
Or, candidates who were hired mid-year 2024-2025 and placed on an intern certificate attend internship sessions 2024-2025 and continue attending internship coursework during the 2025-2026 academic school year until the month of their intern certificate expiration or 300-hour requirement.
