Location: Provider Area
10:20 AM–11:50 AM (1.5 Hour Workshop)
Speaker(s): Maggie Boozer, ESC-20 | Rose Chapa, South San ISD
Location: Pine Room
About Session: Explore how districts are integrating accelerated instruction teachers into their Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) local designation systems. Hear practical insights and lessons learned from a district leader, including approaches to fair and rigorous measurement of teacher effectiveness. Leave with ideas to strengthen your local system and recognize teachers who help students accelerate their learning.
10:20 AM–11:05 AM (45 minute session)
Speaker(s): Ruchamah Belizor, TEA | Sarah Daly, TEA
Location: Pecan Room
About Session: Join members of the Expanded Learning Models team from the Texas Education Agency for a dynamic session on rethinking how districts use time to support student success. Discover how afterschool, summer, and Additional Days School Year (ADSY) programs can be powerful drivers of academic growth and expanded learning opportunities.
This session will explore strategies for designing high-quality expanded learning programs, leveraging existing resources and grant opportunities such as Texas ACE, and maximizing ADSY formula funding to strengthen and sustain accelerated instruction and enrichment for students. Whether you're already operating afterschool, summer, or ADSY programs, or are just beginning to explore expanded learning options, you'll leave with practical options to expand learning time, increase impact, and make the most of available funding streams.
10:20 AM–11:05 AM (45 minute Session)
Speaker(s): Sarah Cude, Amira Learning | Kim Callison, Lubbock ISD | Dr. Amy Stephens, Lubbock ISD
Location: Magnolia Room
About Session: Effective accelerated instruction begins with strong lesson and unit internalization. But how much more powerful could that preparation be when teachers understand not only the lesson, but how their own students are likely to respond?
Join Lubbock ISD and Amira Learning to explore how continuous evidence gathered through assessment, oral reading, and individualized tutoring strengthens Bluebonnet Learning implementation. By connecting these insights directly to the district's Bluebonnet instructional sequence, Amira gives teachers a day-by-day, lesson-by-lesson view of student readiness, anticipated misconceptions, and opportunities for just-in-time support.
Discover how this deeper level of internalization helps teachers prepare more intentionally for grade-level instruction, while individualized tutoring and practice reinforce the same weekly lessons. Learn how Lubbock ISD is connecting Tier 1 instruction and HB 1416 accelerated learning to strengthen Bluebonnet implementation without adding disconnected initiatives or increasing teachers' planning burden.
Less time figuring out what to teach. More time focusing on who we teach.
10:20 AM–11:05 AM (45 minute Session)

1:00 PM–2:30 PM (1.5 Hour Workshop)
Speaker(s): Alma Perales, ESC-20
Location: Pecan Room
About Session: More instructional time doesn't automatically lead to more learning. What matters is how that time is used.
Join Education Service Center, Region 20 (ESC-20) to explore two approaches to accelerated instruction: Additional Days School Year Planning and Execution Program (ADSY PEP) and Blended Learning. We'll look at how districts can design summer programs that extend learning beyond the traditional school year and use blended learning to make classroom instruction more responsive to student needs.
The session will highlight practical strategies for targeted small-group instruction, personalized learning, and using student data to guide instructional decisions. Participants will also consider how these approaches connect to existing MTSS structures, support HQIM implementation, and fit within broader district improvement efforts.
Expect real-world examples, opportunities to exchange ideas with colleagues, and time to consider what implementation could look like in your own school system. The focus is on making instructional time count and building practices that districts can sustain.

3:30 PM–4:15 PM (45 minute Session for PROVIDERS ONLY)
Speaker(s): Brittany Johnson, The Center for OBC | Jasmine Walker, The Center for OBC
Location: Hickory Room
About Session: Outcomes based contracting (OBC) is transforming how providers and districts work together by putting student outcomes at the center of every agreement. Rather than paying for services alone, OBC builds partnerships based on clear outcomes, shared accountability, and continuous improvement. As more districts and states write outcomes into their contracts, what they expect from providers is getting clearer and more specific, and providers who understand those expectations are better positioned to build partnerships that last. In this session, we will walk through what OBC looks like in practice today, drawing on real examples of OBC contracts and provider partnerships underway, and introduce the Standards of Excellence for Outcomes Based Contracting™, the quality framework that now defines strong OBC practice. Whether you are new to OBC or already working in it, you will leave with a clear picture of where the field is headed, what districts expect in an OBC partnership, and how to position your organization as a trusted partner for measurable student results.
