Region 16 AI Center Mission
The Region 16 AI Center of Excellence’s core mission: to responsibly and ethically integrate artificial intelligence in a way that directly enhances student outcomes and prepares all students for an AI-infused world. To achieve this, the Center empowers educators, administrators, and districts by providing expert guidance, tiered professional development, and a resource for the ethical governance and vetting of AI tools. The Center’s work, including its own internal AI applications, is designed to create a scalable and replicable model that extends this student-focused support to other ESCs and ultimately establishes a cohesive statewide strategy for AI in education.
