TExGuide with ESC Region 13
TExGuide provides teachers with a bridge between curriculum, aligned resources, and instructional planning. TExGuides increase the efficiency and quality of lesson planning for teachers, which directly impact student learning outcomes. TExGuides are aligned with TEKS Resource System curriculum, including the scope and sequence of instructional units. Each TExGUIDE Unit Document includes:
Unit overview and key understandings
Unit vocabulary with corresponding activities
Student expectations with aligned engagement activities and sample learning
Experiences and formative assessments
Sample unit assessment
The sample assessments are intended to be a sample bank for teachers to use when creating their own assessments based on the units. We encourage teachers to review the sample prior to deciding which questions to use in their own created assessments.
We do not recommend that districts require the use of TExGUIDE sample unit assessments in their classrooms when assessing student understanding.

FAQ: Accessing TExGuide
The TExGuide resources are built to seamlessly integrate with your work Google account. If you have trouble accessing the guides, and are confident that your organization has a subscription, please verify the following:
You are logged into your district email address through Google (in rare situations, districts have allowed personal Google email addresses to be utilized by teachers). If you are logged into more than one of your Google accounts, try opening a Private or Incognito window in your web browser and then logging into your district Google email address.
If you still can't get in, contact your district Technology Specialist or Curriculum Coordinator to ensure that your Google email address is included in the district's Google Group.
