Join us for this working session where we will take the time not only to discover new and efficient BrightBytes tools, but also to explore how to leverage them to make gains. The learning experience will be driven by your questions, your data, and your goals. You will leave this session with a start to actionable materials tailored to your district. Our BrightBytes Client Success Partner, Adrian Gutierrez, will be on hand to remove any obstacles that might stand in the way of your progress.

Project-Based Learning Academies

May 29 - 31, 2019 or July 16 - 18, 2019 dates are FULL; register today to be added to the wait list.

Project-based learning (PBL) is all about learning by doing, and that is exactly what you will experience in the PBL Academy. By the end of the face-to-face workshop days, you will have designed a PBL unit for your classroom. An online community and on-site coaching session will be offered to provide the support you need to implement your plan. Participants must attend each day to receive credit; partial credit will not be awarded.

ESC Region 11 is providing a day of learning and networking for everyone who utilizes social media in a personal or professional capacity. Conference strands include marketing/branding, school public relations, networking, leadership, digital citizenship, social media in the learning environment, and social media research as well as sessions designed to help novices get acquainted with social media platforms and applications. Participants are encouraged to bring digital devices to engage in leading and learning conversations during the conference.


The day will also include globally connected social media experts, a panel discussion with educational leaders, and an awards ceremony recognizing organizations effectively using social media. Lunch will also be provided.

Attend this one-day mini-conference designed to provide hands-on opportunities for teachers to meet and support district instructional goals through innovative applications of technologies in Canvas. Sessions will include teaching and learning innovations along with tools and technologies, providing teachers with opportunities to learn from their peers and experiment with new and different applications.
