Karina Arias is currently a 7th & 8th grade Science teacher for Donna ISD. She has taught elementary and middle school for the last 18 years. She is the current Science Team Leader and UIL Coordinator for Veterans Middle School.

Hi, My name is Rosemary Fajardo and this is my eleventh year as a middle school educator at Donna ISD. I am a married mother of two boys and a sister to five siblings. While working in the fields during summer break was a necessity when we were kids, my parents used it as a tool to help us understand the importance for education. My goal in life is not to be better than anyone else, but to be better than I used to be. So these "Covid" years have really made me take a deep dive into technology use in the classroom.

Myrna Rodriguez is a Reading Language Arts Lead Teacher at Veterans Middle School in Donna ISD. She has been an educator for 27 years. Her teaching experience includes middle school and high school. An Abydos Learning International Diamond Trainer, Myrna has spent over 17 years sharing her passion for reading and writing with educators from across the state of Texas. As a curriculum writer for her district, she assisted with the creation of instructional resources for the Google Classroom. Myrna is a lifelong learner in constant search of new ideas to integrate in her classroom.
