Facilitators

Hi, My name is Rosemary Fajardo and this is my tenth year as a middle school educator at Donna ISD. I am a married mother of two boys and a sister to five siblings. While working in the fields during summer break was a necessity when we were kids, my parents used it as a tool to help us understand the importance for education. My goal in life is not to be better than anyone else, but to be better than I used to be. So these "Covid" years have really made me take a deep dive into technology use in the classroom.

My name is Nancy Herrera, I am an English teacher at Veterans Middle School in Donna ISD.

This is my 9th year on this campus, and my 4th year as a teacher. I really enjoy connecting with students and this year more than ever because we get to try new programs and new platforms together. I am a lifelong learner not afraid of trying new things. Technology has really given life to some ideas that paper and pen just couldn't.

Janie an 8th grade social studies teacher at Veterans Middle School with Donna ISD. I am passionate about history and have a full fledge love for anything Hamilton. I am the mother to two very rambunctious boys who share a love for technology and history. Entering into my 17 year of teaching all of which have been in middle school I find teaching and technology go hand in hand.
