Senior Director, Cisco Systems

Tim Lake leads Cisco’s Public Sector team in the Central and Western U.S. He is passionate about strategic private and public sector partnerships leveraging technology to enable educational transformation and help deliver a new generation of citizen services. With a specific focus in Cisco’s IoT vision, he believes we will transform the transportation systems and cities in across the country.

Prior to his current role, Tim partnered with educators around the Western U.S. developing holistic 21st Century Learning Strategies enabled by sound technology investments and Cisco’s Education 3.0 Methodology. Before his career at Cisco he formed and subsequently sold a startup providing hosted applications to financial institutions. He lives in Austin and is a proud alumnus of The University of Arizona.
