Waqar Ali

Waqar Ali is a senior and EMT in-training at STISD Health Profession in Mercedes, Texas. He is an active member of HOSA Future Health Professions, National Honor Society, and the National Technical Honor Society. He cofounded the tutoring service Learn4Free with his elder brother in medical school. Waqar has served as the Secretary of Area 7 for HOSA from 2020-2021, and he has a passion for medicine and education. In his spare time he likes to garden, woodwork, play basketball, and spend time with his cats. He plans to attend Harvard University in the Fall of 2021.
