Ezra Esquivel

Ezra Esquivel born and raised in Brownsville Texas to Jose Esquivel and Liz Esquivel is a driven and accomplished senior at Gladys Porter Early College High School, where he has excelled both academically and in extracurricular activities. Throughout his life, Ezra has faced numerous health challenges due to kidney problems. Despite this, he has persevered and has become a role model for many. 

Ezra's passion for robotics started at a young age, and he has since dedicated himself to pursuing a career in the STEM field. He is currently the Founder of the Robotics Club at his high school and has also founded an organization called Future Innovators Through STEM. This organization aims to inspire, create, and discover pathways through Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math, and to encourage retention of students within these fields.

Ezra has already achieved many impressive accomplishments in his academic and professional pursuits. He is set to graduate with both his high school diploma and an associates degree in general studies from Texas Southmost College. He has also taken four years of dual engineering courses through P-TECH and PLTW. Ezra has held several leadership positions in various organizations, including President of the NHS, Vice President of the Student Leadership Council, and Vice President of the P-TECH organization.

Ezra will be attending Texas A&M College Station, where he plans to major in Aerospace Engineering with a minor in Mechatronic Engineering. He has already gained valuable experience in the engineering field through internships with companies such as CK Technologies, NASA, and Rich Products, and he has also participated in programs with companies such as Paragon VTOL.

Ezra's dedication to his studies and his passion for robotics and engineering have already set him on a path towards success. Ezra will continue to make a significant impact in the STEM field and will inspire others to pursue their passions as well.
