Counselor Brief

The Office of College, Career, and Life Readiness provides workshops and services to assist area districts in maintaining comprehensive school guidance and counseling programs.


Learning and mental health are interrelated, and schools play a critical role in promoting the mental health and safety of young people.

Region One ESC's Counseling Services offer expert assistance, information updates and including legislative and legal mandates, and support for initiatives in public education that enhance student development and academic achievement. Counseling Services also offers high quality training to support districts in integrating counselor competencies, program management, guidance, counseling, advocacy and leadership into their systems.
