Ms. Goldston is a 2nd teacher at J.T. Lambert Intermediate School. She currently teaches 6th grade and 8th grade general music, and co-directs 6th grade choir with Mrs. Stevens. She also is the assistant director for the spring musical. Ms. Goldston is a local of East Stroudsburg and completed her degree in music education at the University of Nebraska at Kearney. Some fun facts about her is that she plays euphonium and was actually a member of the Cavalier Voices when she was a J.T. Lambert student herself.
Mr. Mengel is in his eighth year of teaching at J. T. Lambert Intermediate School. Mr. Mengel currently teaches 6th, 7th and 8th grade general music classes, as well as directing the 7th & 8th Grade Choirs and Cavalier Voices. He is from Hamburg, Pennsylvania and graduated from Lebanon Valley College with degrees in Music Education and Vocal Performance, as well as Anderson University with a Master of Music in Music Education. Outside of teaching, Mr. Mengel enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching NASCAR, and performing and listening to music.
Mrs. Hillary Stevens started teaching in 2007. At JTL, she co-conducts the 6th-grade choirs, directs the Spring Musical and fall play, and teaches 6th, 7th, and 8th-grade general music. She graduated from Emmaus High School in 2003 and from West Chester University in 2007 with her Bachelor's of Music Education degree with a minor in theatre, piano, and music history. She earned her Master's in Educational Development and Strategies in 2011 and earned her Instructional Technology Specialist Certificate in 2021. When she’s not at school, she is hanging out with her daughter, Lily, and her husband, Mike. She teaches private voice, guitar, acting, and piano at her home. She also works for Rebel Stages and Shawnee Playhouse as a director and musical director. Before working at JTL, she worked at Lehman in the same position she is in at JTL and Governor Mifflin Intermediate School as a 6th-grade music teacher and conducted the 4th and 5th-grade choirs.
