Professional Experience

August 2024 – Present, JTL Intermediate School, East Stroudsburg, PA 18324

• I teach 6th, 7th, and 8th-grade general music (including technology implementation, guitar skills, world music, music history, music composition, music theory, and African drumming)

• I direct the 6th, 7th, and 8th-grade choirs servicing over 300 students a year. (I teach around 45 songs a year with 7 concerts a year)

• I was in charge of the Lehman Intermediate School Crew, (elite 7th and 8th-grade choir) where we have gone down to Philadelphia to sing in the Thanksgiving Day Parade, to Scranton and Allentown to sing the National Anthem at sporting events, nursing homes around the community, Mady’s Snow day, Mady’s Scholarship Brunch, Relay for Life, PA Capitol building, local churches, and at the local elementary schools to promote music in all grade levels.

• I am the director of the musical at JTL.  I have worked on over 20  shows including; Creepy Creeps of Pilgrim Road, Mirror Image, This Old House, Night at the Wax Museum, Romeo and Harriet, Honk Jr, Shrek Jr., Beauty and the Beast Jr, Kilroy was Here, Fame Jr, Groovy, The Castaways, James and the Giant Peach Jr, Singin' in the Rain Jr., Rogers and Hammerstein's Cinderella Youth Edition, Game of Tiaras, and High School Musical Jr..

January 2019 - Present - Rebel Stages director of Broadway on the Red Carpet 4, and music director at Flout Camp

June 2018-August 2019 - Shawnee Playhouse director of Lion King Jr. Experience and Hairspray Jr.

August 2007 – June 2008, Governor Mifflin Intermediate School, Shillington, PA 19607. 

     - While at GMIS, I taught 6th-grade general music, a 4th-grade chorus, and a 5th-grade chorus.  I was a part-time, Long Term Substitute.  I also substituted for the district in the afternoons.  I used the World Of Music and The Music Connection textbooks for the sixth-grade curriculum, and successfully managed over 200 students in 2 different chorus groups.  At GMIS, the 4th and 5th graders performed in 2 concerts a year.
