UPDATE: Due to a recent fire in Pocono Hall, the Food Court’s kitchen will not be open for Science Olympiad participants to purchase lunch this year. As a result, Northampton Community College is sponsoring grab-and-go bagged lunches for this year’s Science Olympiad event. During the allotted lunchtime, bagged lunches will be available free of charge to Science Olympiad competitors and coaches. A variety of lunch options will feature kaiser-roll sandwiches of: turkey & provolone; Italian “hoagie;” roasted chicken, or; hummus & roasted vegetables. All lunches will be accompanied by a bag of chips, a can of soda or bottle of water, cookies, and assorted fruit. While participants can’t reserve a specific lunch or make special requests, NCC will do our best to accommodate food or dietary restrictions, such as gluten free, vegan, or nut or soy sensitivities, etc. If team members have specific dietary needs, we ask that coaches please inform Fred Ridner (fred-ridner-jr@esasd.net) no later than Friday, February 20. Of course, participants are welcome to bring their own lunches if they prefer.
We are excited this year to offer lunch options at NCC-Monroe Campus' Monroe Food Court. See the menu for a list of options and pricing below. Fountain drinks and bottled beverages will also be available for purchase. Lunch will be served from 11:30am - 1:00pm.
