BREABREAKING NEWS: PRUSSIA FOUND SMUGGLING BIRD INTO PLANE
Hetalian News and Articles
Gilbert Beilschmidt was found smuggling a bird into plane flying from Berlin to Naples. he was brought in for questioning on the 25th of november, and he denied doing such thing. after a few hours of being in the court, the judge had sufficient evidence to conclude that Mr. Beilschmidt was indeed guilty of this smuggling case. At this information, the culprit addmited it, but he said that he would not go into prison for it, because he was the 'Awesome Prussia'. Has a country, meant to represent it's citizen's and their beliefs, really comitted a crime?
The drama began at Brandenburg Airport when security flagged Beilschmidt for "unusual chirping" coming from his jacket. While he initially denied it, prosecutors presented security footage of him sharing a pretzel with a small yellow bird—nicknamed "Gilbird"—in the departure lounge.
Once the judge declared him guilty, Beilschmidt dropped the act. He stood up and argued that his "awesomeness" makes him exempt from airport security, claiming that as the personification of Prussia, he is a "living monument" and cannot be arrested by local police.
A spokesperson for the Beilschmidt family, who sounded suspiciously like his brother Ludwig, released an exhausted statement to the press:
"We acknowledge that Gilbert’s actions were embarrassing and strange. He simply doesn't understand that 'being awesome' is not legal documentation for pets. We are working to resolve this, provided he stops trying to declare the prison his new territory."
The case has sparked a debate on whether a personification of a former nation still gets diplomatic immunity. While experts laugh at the "Prussian status" defense, Beilschmidt remains in custody, reportedly demanding better lighting for his cell. Gilbird has been moved to a sanctuary, while the court decides if Beilschmidt will face a massive fine or a permanent flying ban.
