Where do I go if I need help with internet access or Chromebooks?

If you are struggling with internet access or don’t have a device, your first step is to contact your child’s school site clerical staff. They will walk you through the process. Click here to access our district site and a directory of school site contact information. There are several requests and we are working diligently to get through all of them. We appreciate your patience.

Where do I go if my district-assigned Chromebook isn’t working?

If you already have a Chromebook, but it isn’t functioning properly, we have a Chromebook Exchange Form that you can fill out. We also have several requests for Chromebooks, please bear with us as we process requests.

In the event that you need help with troubleshooting an issue with your district issued Chromebook, please call our IT Hotline at (562)801-8001.

Is ERUSD still loaning laptops to students?

Yes. Chromebooks will be provided to students who chose not to check one out during the Spring. Your child's school site will be sending out information on sign-up and distribution of the Chromebooks. Contact your school site and speak to the clerical staff for assistance. Are there places that provide free online WiFi or hotpots?

Yes! LA County has created a free online WiFi/hotspot locator tool that can be found by clicking here.

Will my child's school be providing textbooks?

Yes, your child's school will be providing the adopted textbooks that will be used during the school year. Your school site will inform you of the textbook pick up schedule.

Will ERUSD continue to provide free and reduced meals?

  • Food Service will be providing meals for El Rancho Unified School District students at our three middle schools.

  • Meals will be provided Monday – Friday 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at No. Park Academy of the Arts, Rivera Middle School and STEAM Academy at Burke.

  • The meal will consist of lunch for the day and breakfast for the following day.

  • Students or persons who pick up meals will need to bring a student ID.

  • If an ID is not available the student ID number will need to be provided to receive a meal.

  • One meal per student ID will be provided.


Do I have to fill out the data confirmation if my student is returning to an ERUSD school this upcoming school year?

ERUSD will continue to utilize the Online Data Confirmation for the 2020-21 school year. Online Data Confirmation will allow for parents/guardians to update student information through the Aeries Parent Portal, rather than having to complete and return the traditional student information paperwork.
