Junior Post-Secondary Planning begins!
This month counselors will push into all 11th grade classrooms. Counselors will have students complete their "Junior Planning Sheet" and introduce the topic of finding the "right fit" college, trade school, or career. The junior planning sheet will be used by counselors to prepare for junior meetings this spring with students and parents. The planning sheet will allow counselors to tailor each meeting to the specific interests and goals of each student. Contact your child's counselor with any questions.
Additionally, school counselors will introduce the Common Application Essay prompts to all juniors. Juniors are encouraged to begin working on their college essay. Students should seek out assistance from the counselor for help getting started.
All juniors should complete their college essay by the end of junior year.

This Event will be open to all students & families at the high school from 12:30-2:45. This is a great opportunity to speak with representatives from Trade Schools, Colleges with hands on majors, Unions, the US Military, and more! RSVP is required to attend.
