ABOUT US

Welcome to Cinderella’s Closet of Mid-Michigan (CCMM). We were founded in 2016 by Kelly Ballor and Jan Milbourn. We are currently run by Sarah DeFrance, supported by the invaluable sewing talents of LIz Hubert. CCMM is housed in First United Methodist Church of Eaton Rapids (FUMER). 

The goal of Cinderella’s Closet is to help ensure that all high school students have the opportunity to enjoy their Homecoming and Prom experiences by providing free special-occasion dresses and accessories to students who could not otherwise afford the attire required to attend the dances. The original Cinderella’s Closet was founded by Erin Peterson in Lakeside, Kentucky in 2006. We are proud to be one several sister organizations throughout the US helping high school students throughout the country “turn dresses into dreams.”

We open our doors for events twice a year, for Homecoming in the Fall and Prom in the Spring. We are currently preparing for this year's Prom events which will take place on Saturdays March 21 and April 11.

Donations of dresses, shoes, and jewelry are accepted year round and can be dropped off during business hours at the office of First United Methodist Church of Eaton Rapids (600 S. Main St) or pick up can be arranged by calling Nancy at 313-377-1727.
