Welcome to TK Resin Works – where passion for craftsmanship meets the beauty of nature. Nestled in the heart of Churchill Falls, our workshop is dedicated to creating exquisite resin river charcuterie boards crafted from the finest walnut wood.
At TK Resin Works, we believe in the art of turning raw materials into functional works of art. Our journey began with a simple idea: to combine the timeless elegance of walnut wood with the modern allure of resin, resulting in unique and captivating charcuterie boards that are as practical as they are stunning.
Why walnut, you ask? Well, walnut wood is renowned for its rich, dark tones and distinctive grain patterns, making it the perfect canvas for our artisanal creations. Each board is carefully hand-selected to ensure the highest quality, showcasing the natural beauty of the wood.
Inspired by the serene landscapes surrounding the Churchill Falls river, each charcuterie board is meticulously handcrafted. The process involves shaping and smoothing the walnut wood before adding the artistic touch of a resin river. The resin, able to be mixed in an array of colors, flows seamlessly through the wood, creating a mesmerizing river-like pattern that enhances the board's visual appeal.
We understand that each charcuterie board tells a story. Whether you're hosting a dinner party, celebrating a special occasion, or looking for a unique gift, our boards are designed to make a statement. They seamlessly blend functionality with artistry, creating a conversation piece that will be the highlight of any gathering.
Join us on this creative adventure, where TK Resin Works brings the beauty of nature into your home through the art of DIY craftsmanship. Embrace the warmth of walnut and the allure of resin, and let your creativity flow like the rivers that inspire our one-of-a-kind charcuterie boards.
Using the product as a cutting board or heavy cleaning will impact the finish. It is recommended that you avoid soaking your board and / or cleaning your board using a dishwasher. Each product will naturally ware over time and can be easily refinished with a light sanding using 220 grit paper and another application of Walrus Oil (or similar product). If the board also feels dry over time, you can reapply a finishing oil.

Walrus Oil
All products are made from premium Black Walnut sourced from Ontario and combined with pigmented resin to create a river-like effect. Each board cures for 3 days in a frame and a further 3 days on a flat surface to ensure the deep pour has fully hardened. We have learned this fact the hard way that.
The product is sanded at 80, 120, 180, and 220 / 240 (320 for Labrador Flag) grits to achieve the smoothest grain possible while still allowing for the walnut to absorb the finishing oil. Walrus Oil is used as a food-safe finish made up of Coconut Oil, Mineral Oil, Vitamin E, and Beeswax. It is compliant for food contact surfaces.
