On Wednesday, March 27, the ERSD welcomes in Melissa Straub from High Impact Youth Training Solutions to present during the school day to all students in grades 4-8 on cyberbullying and internet safety.  

That same evening, Ms. Straub will present to the parents of the East Rutherford community on the evening of March 27 to showcase ways to support safe browsing and scrolling, as well as to promote responsible and appropriate use of technologies today.  We look forward to seeing a great turnout from our families for this relevant and engaging event.

Mindfulness can be incredibly beneficial for parents of neurodivergent kids. In this workshop, we will practice some practical tools including breathing exercises, grounding techniques, body scan, movement, and much more. Mindfulness tools can foster a sense of calm, emotional regulation, and improved communication between you and your  neurodivergent child.
