Hello Students and Parents,
My name is Jennifer Kantola and I am excited to be your science teacher this semester! I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Dietetics and Nutrition and am a registered Nutritionist and Dietetic Technician (NDTR) through the Commission on Dietetic Registration. While my passion for nutrition runs deep, I also had a strong calling to teach, which led me to earn a Masters in Secondary Science Education. I currently teach Nutrition and Physical Science at ERA and am proud to be a female role model in the STEM field.
I live in Westminster with my husband, an investigator, and my 20 year old son who is in college. My husband and I enjoy spending time with friends and family, traveling, and dining. We try to stay active, and also enjoy walking, hiking, and biking around the lakes and trails which are abundant here in the Denver-Metro area.

My Google Classroom pages are updated daily and will include all assignments, due dates, lecture notes and weekly agendas. Students who were absent from class should be able to compete all make-up work using my Google Classroom page as a guide of what was expected each day in class. It is always the student's responsibility to check Google Classroom for missing assignments before asking the instructor about them in class.

by having their child join the classroom using the above code. Once in, select "Student" from the 3 options located top, center. From this page scroll though the roster until you find your student's name, and select "Invite Guardians". Next you will add your contact information and alert options. After this initial set up you will have access to all assignments, notes and deadlines posted on Google Classroom. Another option is to simply email me and I will complete the guardian invitation.
