CURRENT PROJECTS

Recycling Across Era (District Wide Initiative) - provide classroom recycle bins and help empty them weekly.

Wreaths Across America - help Rebecca Crockett Chapter (DAR) by marking gravesites of Veterans with flags prior to Veterans Day, laying wreaths on National Wreaths Across America program in December, and picking up wreaths from Era Cemetery in January.

*January 2025 - Era NHS purchased 45 wreaths during a buy one get one promotion so will be providing 90 wreaths for the Era Cemetery for December 2025 Wreaths Across America.

2023 & 2024 Community Easter Egg Hunt - Held Free Easter Egg Hunt for the community

March 29, 2025:  Era NHS students built a gaga ball pit for the Era elementary playground.

November 6th, 2024:  Era NHS students honored the 86 Veterans in the Era Cemetery by placing flags at their graves in preparation for Veterans Day.  NHS students will continue their partnership with the Rebecca Crockett chapter of DARS in further honoring the Veterans in December when we participate in National Wreaths Across America on December 14th.

• Made the "Welcome to Era" sign

• Made all the street signs in town

• Built the gazebo for the Elementary teachers

• Painted hornet on side of concession stand

• Organized Era alumni basketball games

• Painted teacher houses and other smaller projects

• Made a new sign and frame to replace the worn out sign in front of the Era fire station.

• Replaced the other sign in front of the fire station.

• Painted the flag pole in front of the community building.
