Classroom Expectations and Discipline

Classroom Expectations And Discipline

We will use quiet voices when we are in a building.

We will raise our hands to speak.

We will keep our work areas tidy.

We will be kind to others.

We will show respect to our teachers and to each other.

We will learn to have self control.

We will have fun!

We will ALL start our days on Green. Students remaining on Green means they had a great day.

If anyone is having a hard time following any of the classroom expectations, they will move to yellow and have a consequence.

If they continue to disobey the rules, then they will move to red and have another consequence.

Students will have consequences to fit the rules they break, for example - if they run in the classroom, they will have to spend the first few minutes of recess running around the basketball court.

More severe consequences, like visiting the principal's office, will occur if I feel necessary.

If your child moves to red, I will most likely send you a message to let you know what is going on.
