Interrupting Chicken will be for carpet time. If a student interrupts class by blurting out the class will receive a chicken. If they "earn" all the chickens that day they will not receive the incentive item for that day. Our incentive jar is donuts and they currently will need to earn 12 to earn the class reward.

We have a designated area in our class library for students to take a moment to gather themselves if they are having a tough moment. If a student continues not to listen to direction they will move down our behavior chart as shown here. We have this chart in our room. Class Dojo (many of you may already know) but if you do not- it is a school wide app other teachers can also access to help distribute dojo points to my students or remove points when needed. We will have special privileges on Fridays and they will receive more privileges the more points they have.
