My name is Sara Terry and I am a School Counselor here at Helen Keller Middle School. I am excited to work with your child as he/she/they maneuver through three very important years of their lives. 

I hold my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, my Master's Degree in Counselor Education with a Concentration in School Counseling, and working towards my Doctorate in Educational Leadership (graduating December 2025, woohoo!). I am a Nationally Certified Counselor and a Licensed Professional Counselor. Prior to my work at HKMS, I spent some time with Newtown, Westport, and Weston practicing as a School Counselor. Before my Counseling adventure, I was a Behavior Therapist for Redding Schools.

I reside in a neighboring town with my family. In my spare time, I enjoy exploring, traveling, and arts & crafts with my little ones.
