In our class we love to celebrate special days. Birthdays only come once a year and they are super special to our 6, 7, and 8 year old friends. On birthdays we sign a class card and receive a birthday treat from Mrs. B. We celebrate Hawaiian style with a lei and sometimes a happy birthday song in Hawaiian. Birthday celebrants get brain breaks dedicated to them and some other little perks throughout the school day.
