Primary 6 loved being in the Innovation Station as part of our STEM week activities!
We went on a trip to a Victorian schoolhouse today. Primary 6 got the chance to sit in a Victorian classroom and were taught by Victorian teachers.
We did the 3R's (Arithmetic, Reading and Writing).
We then got the chance to see how Victorian people lived.
Extremely proud of Primary 6 for producing AMAZING self-portraits inspired by our class novel 'Wonder'.
We used watercolour paint and worked on our blending skills to create an eye-catching effect. Children then chose words to describe themselves and wrote them around their portrait.
Well done to P6 for working so hard! ✨
As part of our fitness block in PE, Primary 6 took part in the Beep Test this week.
I think this picture sums up how hard they found it.!!
We have set ourselves the challenge of trying to beat our personal level for next time. 💪🏃
Primary 6 had fun creating their perfect pancake today using their knowledge of fractions.
We then enjoyed some delicious pancakes as a special treat! 😋
Huge well done to Lucia and Sophie for organising a litter pick with P1-3 pupils as part of their Soar High Learning Project. The girls worked hard to create a plan and route for their litter pick. Lucia and Sophie then made an audit of all the litter we picked up.
After picking up A LOT of litter, they now want to start a campaign to keep our playground litter free. Very proud of their ambitious attiude!! ⭐🤩
Primary 6 enjoyed playing the game 'Greedy Pig' as a warm up in Maths today.
We talked about probability and chance when trying to be the fastest person to get to 100!
