At Carolside Campus we have a mainstream primary school, consisting of 22 primary classes; a mainstream nursery class, with capacity for around 80 ante-preschool and preschool children; and a Communication Service, which includes our Pre-School Assessment and Development Unit (PSADU). Our Communication Service meets the needs of young people with complex Additional Support Needs from across the local authority area.

Our school community is one that places a high emphasis on the quality of relationships, which help us to create a positive ethos across the whole campus. This, allied to a strong emphasis on the quality of children’s learning experiences, offers our children the rich learning opportunities that it is our ambition to provide. Over recent years, we have developed a strong focus on progressive approaches to learning and teaching, with the voice of our pupils at the heart of our school.
