Research has shown the importance of play and the fundamental role play has in learning.
During the school day, children in CCSS will be offered countless opportunities to learn through play, just like nursery.
There are a variety of resources that will interest children and motivate them to explore and participate in play throughout the school day.
Sensory play helps children to build skills in cognitive growth, fine and gross motor skills, problem-solving, social and language development.
They will also be supported to develop their social skills through play- communicate their wants, learning how to share, take turns and wait.
