Curriculum for Excellence is a 3 - 18 skills based curriculum which is designed to prepare our your learners with skills for learning, skills for life and skills for work.
In all stages of Primary school there are eight curriculum areas:

Languages (including English and Modern Languages)

Religious and Moral Education
Sciences
Social Studies
Technologies
You will complete a Context for Learning every term and get the opportunity to choose at least one of them in Primary 7. Some of the contexts we've explored in the past have been World War 2, The Wild West, Italy, a Country Study and The Scottish Parliament. We also do lots of special activities and events in P7.

There are lots of special events in Primary 7. One of the highlights is the Cluster Ceilidh.

In September, the Primary 7 classes usually go for 5 days to Lockerbie Manor. Here, we take part in a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities such as:

High Ropes
Zip Wire
Orienteering
The week will involve fun games, a quiz, yummy food, comfortable dorms and lots of new experiences to try with your friends!

Being the eldest, the children in Primary 7 usually get the chance to take on new roles and responsibilities in the school. These jobs can be within the classroom and across Carolside. These include:
