What is Child Find:

Schools in Indiana are responsible for providing a Free and Appropriate Public Education.  This includes programs for children ages 3-21 who are eligible for special education and live within the school boundaries.

Child Find is a national, state, and local effort to find children ages 3-21, who may have disabilities that interfere with learning.

Child Find seeks to create a greater awareness of children and the supports they need to be successful.
