Note: These periodicals are NOT databases. A periodical (like a magazine, journal, or newspaper) is the publication that comes out regularly (like The Atlantic), while a database is a searchable collection (often electronic) that houses thousands of these periodicals and their articles, allowing researchers to find specific information by keywords, dates, or subjects. Make sure to check your assignment details or your teacher if your assignment has specific database vs non-database source requirements!
