Jake McAllister

Head Coach

Coach McAllister is in his 1st year as Head Coach for the Storm after spending 4 years as an assistant coach at Wahoo High School, and 3 years as an assistant at Elkhorn South. ~A graduate in 2005 of Fairbury High School in Fairbury NE, Coach McAllister was a three sport athlete in Football, Wrestling, and Track. ~Coach McAllister graduated from Hastings College in 2009 with Bachelor of Science Degree in K-8 Elementary Education. Coach McAllister also has his Masters in Administration from the University of Nebraska Omaha.

Coach McAllister's coaching career began after college where he was a volunteer assistant coach for 1 year and an assistant coach for 3 years at Wahoo High School in Wahoo NE. While at Wahoo he coached High School, Middle School, and the club for 4 years. ~He was also an assistant Cross Country coach, Head Middle School Track coach, and assistant Middle School Football Coach.

Jake along with his wife Katie and sons Owen and Ethan reside in Elkhorn. ~He currently works for the Elkhorn Public Schools as a 5^th Grade Teacher at West Dodge Station.

Jairin Potter

Assistant Coach

Coach Potter is in his first year as assistant coach on staff for the storm. A 2007 graduate of Englewood High School in Englewood, CO. Coach Potter participated in Football, Wrestling, and Baseball. he is a 4x state qualifier in Colorado and a state medalist. Coach Potter attended Hastings College in Hastings, NE where he was a member of the wrestling team for four seasons. He was a NAIA National Qualifier and was the team representative for the Champion of Character award.

Coach Potter graduated from Hastings College in 2011 with a degree in Criminal Justice and Psychology. His wife is a high school spanish teacher at Elkhorn South and they are expecting their first child. Coach Potter is also a wizard when it comes to Cookie Jam and dance moves!

Chris Blair

Volunteer Assistant Coach

Coach Blair is in his first year as a Volunteer Assistant Coach for Elkhorn South High School. A graduate in 1995 of Gross Catholic High School in Omaha, Nebraska, Coach Blair participated in wrestling and football. While wrestling for Gross Catholic, Coach Blair was a 4x Nebraska State Medalist, 3x State Finalist winning back to back titles in 1994 and 1995. While at the University of Nebraska Omaha, Coach Blair was a 4x NCAA All-American for the Mavericks, wrestling in the National Finals both in 1999 and 2000. Coach Blair graduated from UNO with a 139 Collegiate wins and earned Academic All American Honors in 2000. In 2010 Coach Blair was inducted into the NCAA Division II Wrestling Hall of fame.

After graduating from UNO in 2000 with a degree in Education, Coach Blair began his coaching career. Coach Blair has served both as a Head and Assistant Coach at the high school level . In addition to coaching at the High School level, Coach Blair served as an Assistant College Coach at Nebraska Omaha from 2004 to 2009. Chris along with his wife Tracy, daughter Olivia and son’s Hudson and Lincoln reside in Elkhorn.
