Library Policy

Library Policies:

Our Mission: We aim to provide positive and welcoming experiences to everyone. The library strives to promote intellectual freedom and foster lifelong learning opportunities in a media center that includes a variety of materials, in both print and electronic formats, that supports curricular needs, as well as the students’ broader interests. Technology has enhanced our libraries and its mission, and thus we provide technology resources and aid to students and staff in order to expand learning opportunities.

When lost books are found and returned in good condition, refunds are issued.

Printing

Students are required to show the library staff all items printed from the library printer.

General Library Use

The library is a place of quiet production where students and teachers collaborate to enhance learning. If students are considered not to be working or distracting to others, they will be asked to leave the facility. Students must have teacher permission to work in the library during a scheduled class time, therefore students must sign in and show a pass upon entry to the library.
