East Palestine Bulldog Band
The EP Band has an outstanding tradition of excellence in musicianship and beyond, achieved through dedication, devotion and hard work. Honesty, sincerity, respect, cooperation, dedication and drive are qualities that bring out greatness in us all. We can absorb strength and courage from each other, working toward excellence in both rehearsal and performance. Success is achieved through unselfishness, understanding and persistence with a positive mental attitude. The total band member is one who is always willing to give his or her best for the good of the entire organization. High quality leadership and teamwork from all involved (students, staff and parents) are necessary to run a superior program. Without commitment from everyone, we could not do what we do. Responsibility plays a vital role in the life of a band member. Band is a family, and we are all responsible for respecting each other and working together to create the best quality musical organization possible.
With instrumental music come many exciting opportunities including: achievement in music learning, the thrill of performance, and the development of lasting friendships. “It’s more than just a band.”
Meet the Directors!
Mrs. Jennifer Mollenkopf Director
5-12 Band
I've been teaching at EP since 2005 and love being a Bulldog. Watching students grow up in the band program is the "best part of my job. The EP Band is like a family, a place where everyone can be accepted and members look out for each other. Band can begin for a student at almost any age with the mindset of commitment and dedication, and some of the best experiences you'll have is a part of this kind of organization. Music is for life. Band kids are the best!
