Help is Here!

When students come to see me about needing help, one of the first things I always ask is whether or not they have gone to Access to Teacher time on Wednesdays. This time in built into the schedule specifically for students who are struggling. Having access to teachers for additional support is always the best first line of support. I strongly suggest students take advantage of this time and ask their questions directly to the source. Access to Teacher time is 10:25-11:10 every Wednesday morning. 

Below you will see the peer tutors we have and the courses they are available to support with. Each person has a booking calendar where you can see their available times. Once you select a time, you will meet at that time in Student Services and begin tutoring. 

It is extremely important that you indicate what course you need help with when you're booking. You also need to ensure to bring all necessary materials to your appointment so that your tutor can work with you. 

You will receive an email confirming your appointment and your tutor is linked. If you need to cancel your appointment, please communicate with your tutor or cancel your booking. 

If you don't see someone available to help in the area you need, please reach out to Mrs. Nussey (maegan.nussey@epsb.ca) and she will support you through options available.
