School Council

ÉCOLE ROSS SHEPPARD

We are glad you are here!

A school council is a group of parents/guardians, families, teachers, the principal and community representative(s) who work together to support and enhance student learning and the school environment. It is a way for parents/guardians, families to engage and support the administration (Principal, Vice Principals, and professional support staff). Our School Council provides to Principal Stanley the thoughts of parents about the overall goals and initiatives in the school for a positive year for students, staff, and families at Shep.

All parents/guardians and family members of Ross Sheppard students (in-person and online) are considered a part of the School Council. You are all welcome to attend one or many meetings. At our meetings we hear from Principal Stanley about the overall plans for the school, hear from the executive on some projects that help support Shep, and have a special guest to help us learn something new about how the school runs. These meetings happen the third Wednesday of every month, and you are always invited to click the link and join online or come in-person (when protocol allows). We would love to see you!

If you can’t make the meetings, but would like information about how the school is running, or other smaller ways you can help, please email the School Council at rsschoolcouncil@gmail.com

Thank you for considering Ross Sheppard High School. We are SHEP!
