Work Experience

Work Experience is an opportunity to earn credits while you are working or involved in a recognized volunteer program.

• HCS 3000 must be completed

• One credit is awarded for every 25 hours of work.

• A contract between your employer, your parent or guardian and the school board must be in place.

• Students may earn up to 15 credits towards graduation, and an additional 15 credits for their transcripts.

• Students are responsible for submitting all of their pay statements and all documentation promptly. Failing to do so may impact the awarding of credits. This is wholly the student's responsibility.

• The first 10 credits are awarded at the 30 or grade 12 level.

• Work Experience Credits can be used towards the Rutherford Scholarship.

• You will need to make an appointment with me to complete registration
