Welcome to MBS!
Hello, Mary Butterworth Students and Parents and welcome to our Mary Butterworth Virtual Open House 2022!
Mary Butterworth School is a large Junior High with just over 600 students in attendance this year. Our attendance areas are Lorelei, Baturyn, Newcastle, Albany, Canossa and Goodridge Corners.
Our Maverick students make the school an incredible place! They help others in the school and the community and are cooperative, supportive and trusting in their interactions with each other. Becoming a Maverick involves a personal commitment to learn, achieve and succeed. Students who join our school community understand MBS is a great place and that they have a responsibility to get involved! Our Maverick staff are knowledgeable, dedicated and energetic. They love working with students and families!

How do I register?
Anyone can apply to become an MBS student by pre-enrolling from March 8th - April 15th, 2021.
How do I apply for the Academic Enrichment Program?
Families can apply to the Academic Achievement Program starting March 8th for students new to MBS. You must email and submit your application to ned.beatty@epsb.ca by 4 PM on April 14, 2022
