Registration Information

NEW STUDENT REGISTRATION

If your child is new to Edmonton Public Schools, you can register for school online. Visit the Division website at epsb.ca to learn how to register for school. We will confirm registration in mid-April. 

PRE-ENROLMENT BEGINS MARCH 6

Students who already attend a Division school can pre-enrol. Sign in to SchoolZone between Tuesday, March 6 at 9 a.m. and April 14 at 4 p.m. to select your preferred school for 2023-24.

IMPORTANT: Registration and pre-enrolment are not first-come, first-served, so take time to research your options and find the school and program that work best for your family.

PRE-ENROL IN SCHOOLZONE

Sign in to SchoolZone between 9 a.m. on March 6 and 4 p.m. on April 14, 2023 to select your child’s preferred school for the 2023-24 school year. 

When you sign in to your parent SchoolZone account on your computer, tablet or smartphone:

• choose Next Year

• select the name of the child you are pre-enrolling

• follow the instructions to select your child’s preferred school for next year

Please use these two documents when planning which courses your student will enroll in next year.

GRADES OFFERED

Dr. Anne Anderson High School in Heritage Valley serves grades 10, 11 and 12 for the 2023-24 school year.

Dr. Anne Anderson High School is a Level 1 school on the Growth Control Model and will have an open attendance area boundary. Students living outside the attendance area can pre-enrol if there’s space. If demand exceeds available space, students from outside the attendance area will be chosen through random selection.

ATTENDANCE AREA DECISION

The following neighbourhoods are in the attendance area for Dr. Anne Anderson High School:

• all Heritage Valley neighbourhoods

• Edmonton South West and Edmonton South Central annexation areas*

* These areas are included in the attendance area for now, but as communities in the area begin to develop, this may change.
