About Titans Athletics

Harry Ainlay opened its doors in 1966 and won the Senior Women’s Provincial Volleyball Championship in its first season. Since then the Titans have excelled in inter-school athletics at the city, provincial, and inter-provincial level. No other Edmonton area high school has won more city and provincial championships than Harry Ainlay.

Our history of excellence is a product of the dedicated efforts of student-athletes, parents, and coaches. An outstanding student body has supported this success.

Harry Ainlay High School is located within the 52-acre Confederation Park and has access to various playing fields, a 400 M oval track, a great deal of outdoor area, and the convenient use of Confederation Leisure Center swimming pool and skating rink.

In addition, the school has a large gymnasium that can be subdivided into two smaller units and a north gymnasium so that all types of team sports and instructional groups can be accommodated. Our fitness centre is located on the east side of the school with an full time certified athletic trainer.  The new space allows for a full range of equipment for staff and student use.  It also has a more than adequate amount of floor space for a wide variety of functional training and a studio attached.

As of January 2021 Our Titans have won 351 City Championships and 66 Provincial Championships in team sports since opening our doors in 1966.

We currently have 34 individual teams and 18 programs.
