Cross country typically starts the first or second week of school and lasts until the middle of October.
What is cross country?
Cross Country is a fall sport which teams of runners race on open-air courses over natural terrain. The course may include surfaces of grass and earth, pass through woodlands and open country, and include hills and flat ground. It is both an individual and a team sport, as runners are judged on an individual basis and a points scoring method for teams. At Harry Ainlay we have both men and women compete at cross country meets in the fall representing our Titan population.
