What lessons did you learn as an athlete that have served you well in your professional career?
Even if you don't end up playing at the next level, the skills and values that you learn from sports translate perfectly to whatever you decide to do in life. As cliché as it sounds, the teamwork and leadership skills will follow you throughout your journey. You're not always going to be the best player on the team, whether that be sports or your professional career, so it's important to find your role and excel at it.
If you could share one message or memory with current Titans what would it be?
Your time as a Titan, at least for me, is something that you won't ever forget. Take this opportunity to really focus in on your craft, and respect the game. You get out what you put in. The three years go by quick, so make it count!
Your favourite memory as a Titan?
Winning Tri-Prov in 2017
Anything else you would like to share?
Even though I didn't get a chance to play post-secondary, basketball is an essential part of me to this day. Even though I'm dominating the mens league courts, to fill the basketball sized hole in my heart, I'm now a coach for 15U and 17U boys. It's amazing to give back and relate to the kids that I work with everyday. I was just in their shoes a few years ago, so I'm able to spend extra time on things that I thought were lacking during my time playing.
