What lessons did you learn as an athlete that have served you well in your professional career?
In a team setting it's never enough to just focus on yourself. At the end of the day you will be remembered for how you impacted those around you. Also, just like in sports, life throws curveballs at you all the time. The ability to deal with challenges in stride is one of the greatest skills you can have.
If you could share one message or memory with current Titans what would it be?
There is no one correct path to success and we often fail before we succeed. Learn from every experience, stay dedicated and disciplined and before you know it you will have accomplished the things you set out to.
Your favourite memory as a Titan?
Once on a basketball road trip our bus ran out gas on the highway. I guess the driver forgot to fill up. We basically just sat on the side of the road and talked, laughed and told stories until someone's mom drove out with a jerry can to save the day. Thankfully we were only about an hour outside of Edmonton.
