Nina Johnson, President: "I joined the PTA because I wanted to be part of my children's school community, and engage and support them, their teachers and community. It's been a wonderful experience and I love creating memories with them everyday."
Mira Guergova, Vice President: "I joined the PTA because I believe in being an active part of my child’s education and supporting the school community. I also want to help plan events, support teachers, and create opportunities that benefit all students."
Cathleen Song, Treasurer: "I joined the PTA because I love being a part of the East Prairie community. I wanted to be involved in my children's school and to help support the teachers and staff who do so much for our kids. It's a wonderful way to connect with other families and make a difference in our school community while creating meaningful experiences for everyone."
Sarah Napathalung, Secretary: "I decided to join the PTA because I really enjoy being involved with my kids' school. They both went to a co-op preschool where I volunteered in the classroom a few times a month, served on committees, helped plan events, and eventually served on the Board for the last 2 years. So I gave myself a little break after our youngest's last year there, and now I'm ready to be involved again! I believe it's so important for my kids to see their parents involved and engaged with their schools. And it helps me connect with other parents and our supportive community - which I love!"
"Welcome to the East Prairie School community! I joined the PTA when my first child started Kindergarten here as a way to connect and meet with other parents while supporting my children's school community. Fast forward five years and the PTA community has brought me so much more than I could imagine! I have met so many wonderful parents and teachers and volunteered at nearly all of our school events. The memories I have made have been invaluable and love the school spirit and community here. I encourage you to join the PTA... whether it's volunteering at just one event (or all), every helping hand helps enrich the lives of many students. Thank you for your engagement and support!"
