Along with IR MUN which sustains as our flagship event, the ISPH MUNSOC hold a plethora of events to hone the skills of our delegates. We provide a platform for creativity, policy making simulations, ethical debating and lobbying.
Ecclesia is a Greek word that means "assembly" or "congregation." It was an initiative started in 2023, to create an analytical stakeholder debate, where in a scenario, a firewall has been set up by the union government of India, one similar to China's. The debate took place amongst five ideologies - Union Governement, Internet Freedom Foundation, Opposition, Adanitron & Corporates.
The debate was packed with each side justifying their actions and its impact on the national security while simultaneously answering the question of internet as a basic human right in a fictional country similar to India.
Intra-MUN was a highly successful departmental event, to introduce the concept of a Model United Nations to the new batches.Â
Spread over three highly competitive committees, it was a one day event to discuss extremely pressing domestic and international issues.
Quid Si?, Latin for "What If?" was an event designed to test one's creative limits. It provided a platform, where debaters discussed the best possible outcomes for an all-powerful country names Akator, which had appeared during the World War II.
The possible outcomes for this tribunal was to choose neutrality, attempt to become a superpower, join the Allied or join the Axis.
Quid Si, though a completely nascent event, saw massive levels of success as an university wide event, with over 180 registered candidates.
Dance of Democracy aims to build a path to establishment of democracy in allotted countries of particular tems. Theycan choose any kind of democratic system or even invent new systems in this event, to describe and direct the political and economical discourse of the allotted country to one towards democracy.
Dance of Democracy has been one of the lineal events of ISPH MUNSOC, which celebrates democratic values, worldwide through cautious and systemic thinking.
